Real Name: Spiral, (she was once "Ricochet" Rita)
Affiliation: Works for and is a slave to Mojo
Previous Affiliations: Freedom Force under the leadership of Mystique
Height: 6" foot
Weight: Unknown
Eyes: White, with no irises
Hair: Silver
Other distinguishing features: six arms, three fingers and a thumb on each hand, Crimson Dawn tattoo over left eye
After incountering and befriend Longshot, and possibly having a much 'closer' relationship she was captured by the malevolent Mojo, the obsese ruler of the alternate dimension known as the Mojoverse. She was transformed through genetic engineering into Spiral, a six-armed spell-weaving slave of Mojo. Whilst most of Mojo's slaves only had two arms, he designed Spiral with six to ensure her hatred of other humanoids.
Spiral is a former stuntwoman who was genetically and cybernetically altered by the Mojoworld scientist Arize. Spiral was given four extra arms, one of which is constructed entirely from an unknown metal whilst another is mostly so. Spiral possesses a toughened skin that affords her protection akin to body armor, and a mind immune to psionic possession.
Spiral is also a sorceress, able to weave spells by means of various motions of her hands. Spiral must be able to gesture with her arms in order to cast spells. Amongst the spells she can cast are ones that allow her to levitate herself, shatter or disintegrate inanimate matter, control energy-based attacks directed at her, neutralize all non-magical powers temporarily, teleport herself and others to any point in the space/time continuum, open dimensional apertures, make herself invisible, increase her strength or speed, render her opponents unconscious, and drain the life force of a victim, leaving them a withered husk. She can fire concussive blasts, paralyze, stun, or rob her opponents of their powers. Spiral also uses swords and daggers when attacking. Whilst teleporting, Spiral possesses a psionic radar-like sense that allows her to navigate through dimensions.
Spiral is a formidable combatant, able to wield swords or daggers in all six of her hands with great skill.
While Mojo's bodyguard and slave, she also runs the 'Bodyshoppe' as a side buisness. She is a ambiguous character, for she has hindered the X-Men as much as she has helped them through out their incounters. Mysterious, aloof, dangerous and barking mad, she is both crude and gracful, but always a contradiction.
Once, after having been deposed as ruler of Mojoworld, Mojo returned with Spiral at his side to capture Shatterstar, a warrior from an alternate future of the Mojoverse and member of the mutant strike-team known as X-Force. After Shatterstar was reduced to a digitized state which was slowly killing him, Spiral saved his life when she transported him and Longshot to the bedside of a comatose youth named Benjamin Russell, who was Shatterstar's counterpart on X-Force's Earth. In that act of heroism, Spiral revealed to have some very deep feelings for Shatterstar and Benjamin Russell both. After Shatterstar merged with Benjamin, she teleported away, apparently back to the Mojoverse.
